Verizon Treo to Cricket next step help!

Ok ... I've gathered all the stuff that I've read is necessary.

I have QPST, and the 1040 PRL. I got a serial data cable, and have it working.

I gave Cricket the new ESN.

In QPST it isn't detecting the phone from COM 1, but I know it works, b/c I hot-synced through the cable.

I've read countless posts. Could anyone help me with the next step?

THERE IS A DIFFERNECE between a serial cable and a usb cable ! You cant just go out and buy a treo serial cable ! On ebay when they advertise they say serial/usb cable....this cable only read that syncing part of the phone ! You need a box and rj-45 serial cable to do it or make the serial cable, which is very hard because they dont make the parts for them anymore ! Also need the phone in passthrough....etc You have to read tx,rx,and gnd connections of the phone (this is the data interface of the phone)
