verizon says they dont sell this item and wont take it back?

for my birthday, my aunt got me the jabra bluetooth headset vbt135z. the package says it is from verizon. i already have a bluetooth, and im with sprint. so i wanted to go return the item and just get the money back for it. problem is, she 1. never gave me the receipt or a gift receipt... and 2. verizon says that they never sold this item so they wont take it back. I dont want to give it back to my aunt cause honestly, it will make her feel bad. she left the price tag on it and everything... so i know how much she spent. i just dont know where to go anymore. when verizon said that they dont sell this item and told me they wont take it back, i tried radioshack and walmart. neither places sell this item. so i have no clue where she got this from. she lives in Cali, and i hardly ever talk to her... so calling her would def give away that im giving it away. any clue where this thing got bought from and where i can sell it back too? im completely lost on all ideas.
