Verizon Prepaid phone on regular plan

If i were to buy a verizon prepaid phone, lets say at walmart, would i be able to activate it on my regular plan. And if it doesn't work would i be able to take it back?
 
As long as your buying a verizon phone, there shouldn't be a problem with using it on your plan.
To return the phone, i don't think so, but you can always talk to a manager prior to purchasing to make sure. Managers have more authority than the sales person.
