Verizon plan with Alltel phone?

Lately I have been having many problems with my Verizon phone, the env2. However, I have kept my old phones and still own a Motorola Hint that was available with Alltel. Therefore I'd like to switch my verizon phone out for the Hint, my question is:
Can I switch my env2 for the motorola hint and stay under my current verizon contract?
