Verizon Phone Upgrades?

Hi. My Verizon phone is eligible for an upgrade, but I have a few questions about what I am able to get. My line is part of a family pack (which includes my 2 sisters and mom). A few months ago my sister upgraded from her flip phone to a blackberry. She got the blackberry for free (including the rebate). Is only one line on the plan able (or "privileged" enough) to get a high-end phone (for free)? If not, how much would it cost to get one of the droid phones as my upgrade?

On a family plan, only the primary line gets any sort of credit or discount towards a phone- all other lines pay whatever the standard contract pricing is. The cheapest Android phone that you could get would be the LG Ally- $50 after rebate with a new 2 year contract
