Preface this with,"I'm an iPhone user, haven't had Verizon since 2008." My dad has asked me to help him pick a new phone, though, and I'd like to do a little homework before going in to a retail store. He's eligible for a handset upgrade and out of contract.
Criteria: Preferably not a clamshell, or at least something in a form factor that'll easily slide into a shirt pocket.
Also, he manages his address book on an aging Palm Tungsten EZ, which syncs to Outlook. The Palm's getting a little flaky, so he'd like to sync his Outlook contacts to the new phone, including phone, email, and street address info.
Mobile email, web, etc., are not a priority, but PC-syncing to the Outlook Calendar is.
So, I can't tell from the feature descriptions on the Verizon website which, if any, of the feature phones could handle this. I'm thinking my spare Nokia N75 (S60) would sync to outlook using the Nokia PC-Suite- is there something similar on VZ that he could get, short of going to a PDA phone? I think he'd do better with, shall we say, a more limited feature set...
Thanks!
