i upgraded to a chocloate touch at christmas, and the screen broke last week. so i took my mom's old flip phone and added it to my line. however, it is a vx5400 and is old. the battery life is okay, but for some reason, it will shut off at random points during the day, and as close as within minutes of each other. i know this is a manufacturers defect, but since it's not under warranty, what can i do? will verizon do nothing, or give me a refurbed one? or maybe give me a vx5500? help please!
