I currently have Verizon but I want to switch to AT&T just to get the iPhone 3GS. I was planning on getting an iPod Touch soon, but I figured if I get the iPhone, it'd be saving money and convenience. So please answer as many questions as you can:
1. With my Verizon plan, I have unlimited Verizon to Verizon text messaging, and 500 to and from other carriers. Does AT&T have the same plan, or is it unlimited texting all around for any carrier?
2. Is it the same scenario for calling?
3. I heard you have to pay $100 or something each month for your iPhone to work. Is that true?
4. Is it cheaper?
5. When you first get your iPhone, do you have to hook it up to your computer?
6. How's the AT&T service? Sometimes with Verizon I hit dead zones. How's AT&T?
