Well I have the Westell 6100. For a long time I been having the same problem. Lights on the modem:
1- Power light (solid)
2- Ethernet light (blinks normally)
3- DSL light (blinks)(problem)
4- Internet light (comes on and off)
My problem is that every 10 to 15 minutes my internet light would go off and the DSL light would start blinking. At this point I loss connection. All my filters are correctly put in, and my ISP username and password is also correct. Need help?
I'm a gamer, so I also have a linksys router. Sometimes I would bridge my connection to the router. When i do this the modem's internet light is off (which is normal), but the DSL light will still blink causing me to loss connectivity. I believe I am running PPPoE. That is my setting on my Linksys router. Need some serious help because I miss playing my games online. =(
Note: This problem happens with or without the Linksys router hooked up.
