Verizon is sending me a replacement blackberry on a discontinued phone?

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330, that I got in March, which is now considered discontinued (I don't understand how I got it when it was discontinued in January so...yeah)

Anyway, my usb port broke on my phone, and I went to a Verizon store and the lady was awfully rude (i, and a few friends of mine, have had problems with her before). She told me that since I didn't buy an insurance policy on my phone that she wasn't allowed to answer me, and that if I wanted to switch to an older phone of mine that I wouldn't have to do it over the phone and not through her. (bitch..)
This I found odd, since the phone itself has a 1 year warranty that i'm suppose to talk to verizon about it I have problems.

So I called the customer service hotline this afternoon, and the guy was very helpful. He ordered me a replacement blackberry within the first 3 minutes, and switched me to my old phone (which he said that lady should had done at the store).

Since the phone was discontinued will it be an 8330? I mean, I know it'll be a refurbished one and whatnot, but it'll still be the same phone model and whatnot right? He never went on those specifics and just said a replacement blackberry would be sent, so...yeah.
Thanks for your help!
