Hi everyone. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem. I just purchased an iPhone 4 for Verizon, and out of the box it does not turn on, nothing shows on the screen.
I tried connecting it to the computer through the USB, nothing.
I thought, maybe it is the battery, it may be dead (but why should it be dead when it is a new phone and they come with enough battery already?). So I plug it to the AC outlet, nothing happens.
Did I just get a lemon? Anybody had the same problem? I am taking it back tomorrow, but I was just wondering, because now I am without a phone to use at all, I don't have any backup phone or anything around.
This is my first time purchasing an iPhone, never was interested in Apple until now, then this happens...not a good start at all. Hopefully I am doing it the right way (push the POWER button, right???)

Tried hard reset (which I don't think it should be necessary on a new phone) and didn't work. Thank you for the input though.
