Verizon internet problems?

Well i figured i would ask here because Verizon's so called tech support blows. i have their DSL and if im online with my Xbox playing CoD, the internet randomly shits out and i have to reset the modem. and if im playing and someone calls in it lags me and sometimes kicks me out. I tried calling tech support but i have already twice and both times they sent out repair men who claim they have "fixed the problem". needless to say, they havent. I called again and again thier faithful answer was we can have someone there tomorrow between 8 and 12. So i was just wonderin if anyone else has had this problem and found a fix
