I will be studying abroad for a year next year and am getting a new phone tomorrow. I am considering the BlackBerry Bold (verizon), which is Global capable.
There seem to be two options to use verizon abroad. Either I enable a non-global phone to work overseas and pay extra per minute/data, or I get a global phone. My question is, if I get a global phone, do I still have to pay extra? Which option is better?
