If I were to compare ONLY those two, it would be Droid X. If you count the Droid 2 as DROID 2 GLOBAL EDITION, go with the Droid 2. But there are better Verizon phones then those two.
If I was to choose, I would choose the HTC Thunderbolt. Or you might want to wait for the Motorola Targa. They're both 4G phones. Just try NOT to get the Droid Incredible 2 or the Droid X2. They will be on Verizon 3G. So I would recommend you to get the Thunderbolt.
But in comparing only these, Droid X. If you're counting Droid 2 as Droid 2 GLOBAL, Droid 2.
