Last year when I signed up for a Verizon Wireless contract, I had to pay a down payment because I had no credit history, I've paid every bill on time, and I just paid the last one of the year. How do I get the down payment back? My friend said he got a check for his payment + interest. Is that the same for everyone? Because currently, when checking my account, I noticed that the balance is -$"amt of down payment"
Is there anything to do so make it so I get a check in the mail?
Oh and in the payment history there are two entries, one says SECURITY DEPOSIT APPLIED: and SECURITY INTEREST APPLIED: each with there respective numbers, the security deposit being the down payment.
