Verizon customer calling non Verizon customer?

I'm on a shared family plan with unlimited texting and long distance calling to other Verizon customers. Have a rate of 700 minutes a month. If I call a non-Verizon customer on their cellphone long distance, would this come off of my 700 minutes?
