I am deciding between two presents for christmas for my best friend. One of the possibilities is she needs a new cell phone. My question is is there anyway I can buy a Verizon cell phone without buying a plan? If so around how much will it cost?
 
Buying a phone from the retailer can cost anywhere from $400-$600. Try buying her a prepaid phone. Tmobile offers good deals on prepaid plans and you can look up phones on ebay. Make sure the phone is like new or in mint condition and ask the seller any questions before buying it
