Verizon and SonyEricsson?

I'm currently using Verizon and simple basic phone. My contract is due to expire in 3 weeks. I want to upgrade to a phone with the best camera possible and mp3/wmv ability.

My question is, will any phone work with my Verizon account? I like the SonyEricssons but I don't see them on the Verizon website. Do I have to match the phone with the appropriate service provider? What service providers support the sonyericsson's.

should i just stay with verizon or switch? do i need to switch? i'm confused
 
SonyEricssons DONT work with any CDMA providers (sprint, Verizon) they would only work for GSM providers such as Cingular and T-Mobile.

if you really want a SonyEricsson switch to T-Mobile or Cingular, but in my opinion dont switch service just because of a phone. but if you do make a switch make sure that the provider you go with has good enough coverage for you. good luck have fun
