Verizon and Alltel contract?

Still not clear if/when Verizon is getting an iPhone.

Yes if you have an active contract with it does not matter if it is with Verizon or Alltel you are still locked to Verizon until it is over. You are still receiving the same or better service so there is not much of an argument that you have been hurt by the change.
 
Since I signed a contract with Alltel am i still in contract with Verizon?? I was just wondering if I can switch over to get the iPhone instead of staying in Verizon? Btw is Verizon getting the iPhone?
