The dll I have isn't quite right, so I'm at the same place I was last time I tried this phone. We need the real dll for this phone, and I bet we can get it going.

I plan on getting into the WAP/MMS settings and fixing them to Cricket. Just need the right dll.

I tried that way, got into a few menus, and the Preferences Editor, and still couldn't get it to work right.

Just so everyone can muck around:

Go to Menu, Settings/Tools, Press #.
The code is 000000, then # again.
The code is 8886573982

I think the only place we need to mess around in is the USERPREFS Editor, but I'm not sure because i haven't gotten one working yet.

go to userprefs
dont go down...go up...
and keep goin u will find hidden menu change it to a 0...or 1...
lmao i cant remeraber if its 1 change it to 1 and vice versa
after u do that go to get it now txt then pix text then press *

my prob is i dont have service on the phone...to test it and the web settings are in userpref

lol, I didn't know you could go up and down, only right, lol. Well I'm going to put this a870 on an account and see what happens, but it has to be switched to simple IP at least, and the SIP username and pw hav eto be changed too. Those are the two things we need the right dll for unless someone else knows how to get around it.

I'm also going to try hex editing the nvm_data, nvm_hdr, and nvm_ss_data files.
