We brought in a friend to become a partner with very good experience for the position needed; however we noticed that he has a temper problem and overstepping job duties. Not to mention money is missing. The real incident is when he walked out the company Tuesday Night because he claimed to have a panic attack when a co-worker was attacked by another employee. Me and the third partner stuck it out and dealt with the situation. We know it was a "verbal agreement” and it was still under modification but we allowed him to have keys (its not like we didn’t have information on him incase of theft , etc)
The question would be how to deal with him legally; money is missing when he was in charge of it, he took money from training and has a temper issue when things don’t go his way. We don’t want him to possibly attempt to hurt a worker or member of management when we try to release him. Does anyone have any pointers that could help us?
PS: the state is Ohio, and we know the verbal agreement was a bad idea, but we can’t change that now.
