Vera Bradley Laptop Backpack?

i am going to college next year in the fall. i am starting to look for backpacks! (i know it is way to early- but don't judge me) so i really want the vera bradley laptop backpack. is it worth the $98? what pattern would you choose? does it hold textbooks AND a laptop? has anyone had any trouble with it? anything helps! thanks
