have looked back a few pages and can't find a thread for this movie so apologies if there is one...

Just watched this movie - just brilliant. Peter O'Toole is fantastic - he deserved the oscar - but the rest of the cast are just as good. Funny, warm characters you really care about. Bought a tear to my eye when they were talking about Richard Beckinsale...a trly lovely film :)
 
I thought the best actor race was so tight this year, all 5 were worthy of it.

The film itself was decent, but Peter O'Toole was so good in the role.
