My 22 month old daughter has had a cough for the last two mounths. The cough is hacking but not real often. Her doctor said she sounRAB clear but her caugh may be brought on by sertain situations like laughing. Her doctor gave her a ventolin inhaler. She has been using it for three days now and it seems her cough has gotten a lot worse. I looked at the possible side effects. Nervousness, shaking (tremor), mouth/throat dryness or irritation, cough, dizziness, headache, trouble sleeping, or nausea may occur. This makes me wonder if we should be giving this to my daughter. Side effects like nervousness an troule sleeping worry me because she is so young. I just dont know if a cough that is really just annoying to her is worth all this. Any advice would be great.
