Vented Fairing Lowers Arrived!

Well- I finally ordered a set of color matched vented fairing lowers two weeks ago today from Chicago HD, they arrived on Saturday!!!. (Chopper Blue Pearl of course!)
They are considered as a 6 year anniversary gift to my 2005 FLHTI (bought from the showroom floor on the 21st of August 2004).

30K miles later, she runs and looks better than the day I picked her up!

Looks great. I think vented lowers will be my xmas gift to myself this year. Unfortunatley for me I have to change the fairing mounts to '10 and up so they fit.

Great color too!
 
Look'n good & lowers are a nice addition for any touring bike. Got lucky & found mine locally on CraigsList (1/2 price of new - color match) were the guy put on bike & didn't like how they looked. His loss = my gain, but really like added storage, reduced wind/buffeting & heat diffusion. If you didn't buy them now - recommend getting the quick disconnect hardware - really makes install/removal a breeze (especially for cleaning).
