Good point. I forgot about that. All the perps have to do is be sure nobody is at home when the driver rings the doorbell and drops the package off.
If the cops 'would' do anything it would be easy to catch them in the act. Just put a proximity switch and transmitter in the vicinity that beeps within the squad car. Zoom in and scoop the bad guy up. Done deal. That is if the cops/ UPS would allocate the time to prosecute the fraud.
