I just replaced several the high side a/c line, the compressor, and the orifice tube on my 92 caddy's a/c system, the high side is registering high, (i don't know exact pressure because i don't have the tool for that), and the low side is registering about 30-35 psi when the compressor is running. The A/C lines from the orifice tube to the firewall is cold, however, the air coming out of the vents isn't cold enough, and the where the low side comes out of the firewall, through the can-looking part, and low side lines to compressor are not cold.
Please don't say take it to a service center, as I am my service center.
My thought is that there is air in the low side lines, and letting it sit until the pressure equals out between the two sides, then opening the low side valve with a key, or nail, until liquid comes out and not air would fix it,
if you think i am correct, please answer question anyway with a simple, you are right, if not please give me ideas on how to fix this. thanks for your help in advance
First. I had the system vaccumed/evaced before i started, second what they evaced was a Synthetic environmentaly friendly R124a+, 3rd, i have a low side gague, just not a high side gague
