The question directly from my book is,
An airplane is flying at an airspeed of 400 km/hr in a wind blowing at 40 km/hr toward the southeast.
In what direction should the plane head to end up going due east? What is the airplane's speed relative to the ground?
I know how to tell what direction the plane with wind speed affecting it, but i can't seem to work the problem backwards. Thanks for any help!
