VCR isnt working, but it was 5 minutes ago. Please help.?

My VCR isnt working. The tape wont go in, It sticks out about a half of an inch, and them it ejects it. It was working like... 5 or 10 minutes ago. Please help!
Before, when it was working, the tv would go all staticky, and now it wont accept the tape, or go staticky.
