J J G New member Jun 20, 2009 #2 These gearboxes are horrendously fault prone, but check it's not something really simple first like the button on the gear lever being stuck down.

F Fork UK New member Jun 20, 2009 #3 Engine management system fault is the likely cause. Take it to a garage that can hook your car up to the computer to check the fault out. Good luck!
