We read that the Vatican has compared the Gaza to a "big concentration camp". Some may think that harsh, but the boss at the Vatican, an ex-member of the Hitler Youth, should know a concentration camp when he sees one.

The Vatican - right or right ? Gaza - a concentration camp or a concentration camp ?

Well, Gaza is kinda like an extermination camp for Palestinians. The irsaeli no longer care if they are militants, house wives, men or children, the point is to kill as many as possible. In my book, that is called GENOCIDE. So yes, I guess it is kind of a concentration camp. The irony is, israel has the past trauma of invasion and persecution... how can they be doing this now, when they know what it is like to be anhialated?? :(
Al-salamu alikhum...

Gaza is more like the Warsaw Ghetto than a concentration camp.

As soon as you compare Israel to the Third Reich, you should hear them squeal, it's quite a satisfying noise, as the oppressed really don't want to face up to the fact they have become just as bad as their oppressors.

That doesn't surprise me in the least considering their abject hatred of all things jewish. That and the way they have massacred Jews down through the ages, would give them first hand knowledge of concentration camps. Having a former member of the Hitler youth at the head of procedings, is surely the icing on the cake.

Christians were responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews so why doesn't Israel declare war on them?

US Congress Passes Resolution Supporting Israel Right To Defend

WASHINGTON (AFP)--The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday joined the Senate in offering staunch support to Israel as the conflict rages on in Gaza, calling on Hamas to end rocket attacks.

"Today, we reaffirm that Israel, like any nation, has a right to self-defense when under attack," said House speaker Nancy Pelosi. "The rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza, which were increasing in frequency and range, constituted an unacceptable security threat to which Israel had a responsibility to respond."

Pelosi backed the Bush administration position that the cease-fire should address the root causes of the conflict to forge a peace that is "durable and sustainable."

The resolution calls on Hamas to end rocket and mortar attacks against Israel, recognize Israel's right to exist, renounce violence and verifiably dismantle its terrorist infrastructure.

It says civilian lives must intended to the "maximum extent possible" and expresses condolences to innocent Palestinian and Israeli victims and their families.

The resolution, passed unanimously, also reiterates that "humanitarian needs in Gaza should be addressed promptly and responsibly."

On Thursday, the Senate passed a similar measure, saying Israel had an " inalienable right" to defend itself from attacks by Hamas.

I don't usually agree with anything the Vatican says, but this time they've got it spot on. Gaza is a concentration camp.

Don't you even see how taking the word of the former Hitler Youth dude when condemning Jews is somewhat...insane?
The Vatican, right or right? Please! The Vatican has a long, dark history of anti-Semitism.

You're in good company here...keep telling us how we should unquestioningly accept the words of a former Hitler Youth member when he's irrationally condemning Jews...

After all said and done , all we can say if Israel has the right to exist so do the native people of Palestine. No more of the same reform is coming to the world. Go Obama

The Vatican is dead right. There has never in the history of mankind had a concentration camp with 1.5 million inhabitants.

Obviously you have a new source from the "Grauniad" (sic.), but your final question asks for a difference between a "concentration camp" or a "concentration camp". In my knowledge of English they are the same thing!

They've been herded in behind a huge wall and deprived of the very basics needed for a decent dignified life. It's a concentration camp,no two ways about it.

no

how about those lovely refugee camps in darfur where women are raped if they leave the camps and men are murdered.....?
