Before I address the mufflers, I got my stuff from Shawn at Dr. V-Twin. I got a fair price from a decent guy, I was pleased.
Now on to the mufflers. You ask about "hi output rounds". That's describing two of their mufflers. There are the "Hi-Output" and the "Monster Rounds", two different mufflers. You mentioned quieter, so you'd definitely want the Monster Rounds. I have the Hi-Outputs, you don't want those. The Hi-Outputs are 'boomy' loud, but not 'crackly' loud like others, including Rineharts. I've been having tuning issues since I installed these on my bike. Is it the mufflers? Honestly, I can't say for sure as I'm still trying to get it ironed out. But an anecdotal comparison with my other bike that has the Monster Ovals on it runs vastly better and it has the same set-up except for the mufflers. And it's also a smaller motor. Everything I've learned says the Monster Rounds are essentially the same as the Ovals in terms of sound and performance. If the Monster Rounds were available when I bought my Hi-Outputs, I would have gone with the Rounds hands down. I would advise staying away from Hi-Outputs.
And, they'll look way better than the Rineharts you have on there now!
