I'm really having trouble with this piece.
Firstly, I'm finding the hand stretching in most of the bars quite difficult because of the fingering (for reference, my hand can stretch an octave comfortably). Also, the legato in the bars are really difficult without the pedal, and even with the pedal sound too detached.
Additionally, getting it up to speed causes the chords in the right hand to become broken up, and I'm finding that when this happens, it becomes a lot less clear. Finally, my hand pressure is making the piece too loud; it would be simple to press down the soft pedal, but I don't want to have to rely on that.
I've been working on this piece for a long time, and it's really causing distress because it simply won't get better. Any tips, especially specific tips, would be greatly appreciated.
