Valet key for Honda Accord. My car did not come with one. Can I just have

one cut, and will it work? I bought a used 2006 Accord at a Honda dealer. I was given 2 keys. Both with the remote door, and trunk alarm on them. When I got home I read the manuel. It said I should have a valet key, and a bar code to get replacement keys if I lose them. I did not get any of those. I called Honda to ask how to get a valet key. They told me to call the dealer, because the car was a certified used car, it should have them. I called, and was told they did not get them when the car was traded in. So I just want to know if I can just have a key cut anywhere, and will that key work as a valet key. The two keys have the chip to start the car. So will the key I have cut work. The picture of the valet key in the book does not have a chip. If it will not start the car, can I still use it as a spare just to open the door if I lock my keys in it.
