V3c, LG9800, switch from Verizon? What should I do?

Basically, I can't stand my V710 and its amazing ability to always run out of battery, never be felt vibrating, never be heard ringing, and the coup de gras its ability to switch to vibrate at its own discretion. So I'm done. I need a new phone. Here's what I'm looking for:

qwerty keyboard would be cool
be as thick as the razr
be fully bluetooth capable with obex support (i could give this up, but i want my mp3s as ringtones and ringer ids and I'm not paying to transfer them)
have quality ipod like mp3 playing abilities and storage with a SD or other type of card / flash memory of 4-6gb (the rokr doesn't count, and i could potentially live without this)
have a ringer you can hear in a noisy environment like a shopping mall or a restaurant (hugely important. so sick of not being able to hear the ringer through my jeans)
have a vibrate option you can feel through a pair of jeans
voicemail ought to download to the phone automatcially so you don't have to log into the system. (does any company have this?)
the ability to "voice record" pieces of conversations, ie someone gives you directions, and you record them to a playbackable voice recording (can do this on my v710)
speaker phone (speaker phone on flip phones that works with the phone closed)
voice recording capabilities
don't care about camera quality
battery life is a big deal too

It sounds to me like the LG 9800 is what you want. It doesn't meet all your requirments, but phones the size of the Razr aren't going to have the battery power to support all the features you want.

i think there actually are a few sanyo phones that do. phone scoop calls the feature call screening? or is that not that? i honestly would love to write a BREW app or java app or something that did this. I loathe having to call in to my voicemail. I just wish they could automatically download.

I owned the V3c for a few days and it died. I ended up going through 3 Razr v3c's and after the 3rd one had a defect I switched to the lg VX9800 (The V). I can tell you having used both phones now that the 9800 is the way to go. I have not been happier. You will truelly enjoy the phone if you decide to go with it. I play games on my 9800. I play full movies now ripped from my DVD's and a mini SD card. Texting and browsing the web is awesome now. I got the VCAST/unlimited Mobile Web and I think its worth the $15.00. I check my e-mail anytime or anywhere and when I want to put on my MSN, I found out how to do it without it costing text messages. The battery lasts a long time and the Bluetooth is excellent. I love the lg 9800. I've never used an LG before but because of the quality I will be sticking with LG. The phone is a little big but its worth the money. I hook it up in my car and play my MP3's over the car stereo using a cassette tape adapter. If you get a cable off of ebay for $8.00 and use Bitpim you can transfer ringtones and wallpapers for free over to the phone.

The Razr I think was rushed out for Christmas and not of the same quality. It also only has 30 megs of memory so not much you can do with that. The 9800 comes with 60 megs on board memory and also has some other nice features such as voice announcing. It will tell me who or what number is calling me before it rings and also it will read my text messages to me if I am in the car and can't take away from driving.

Simply an awesome phone..
