v3 browser: open in new window?

Does anyone know of a way in the S60v3 browser to open a link under the cursor in a new window? I swear it's gotta be here somewhere, but I've never been able to figure it out. I'm sure Nokia had to put this in here somehow...

I mean, it works for pages that use the standard HTML new window constructs just fine -- I'm referring to doing it on purpose with standard links that would nornally just use the same window.
 
Am I looking for it? no, just a way to open a new window (which is already supported). Would I *love* to have tabbed browsing? Like you have to ask...
 
I don't think you can do it deliberatly... I'll usually use Opera if I know that I'm goinig to have multiple windows open.

As for tabbed browsing, i'd kill for it as well... it wouldn't be that hard to implement a tab row at the top of the screen... that would be killer.

d00d! I hear the N100 will have WiMax and the new 7mbps HSDPA with a 10mp camera and bluetooth 5.0. sooooo awesome. but I hear it has a 1.8" 176x206 TFT screen, *sigh*.
 
I too would kill for tabbed browsing but with the already skimpy Ram issues would it even be usable past 2 tabs of low res sites?
 
speaking of tabbed browsers...is it even possible to open 2 windows at the same time on the wap browser? (instead of having to be forced there thru links)
 
No it doesn't work on my 3250 either but if you go into the help section it says 'Tip: To open the link in a new window, press and hold the joystick.'
