I've got one of the "glorious" moto v265's. Several weeks ago it started to reboot when I would try to reply to a text message. It was only doing this every once in a while. I obtained the Cricket v26x firmware and reflashed my phone about 2 weeks ago hoping that this would solve the problem. It only made it worse. Now I'm lucky if the phone will even power on. The software freezes like a pc trying to run to many processes at once. It reboots for no reason and returns, if i'm lucky, with no service. The battery wont even charge properly anymore. I've read that several of the v265s on various networks have had this problem. I know the solution to this is to upgrade to a better phone but my money tree has currently quit blooming:reallysad so I'm stuck with this phone for now. I went to restore my seems from backup only to find that my 7 year old decided to use the cd as a frisbee.
Just my luck. So if someone with a v265 could make me some copies of the original cricket seems, and the eeprom, I would be greatly appreciative :buddies: . The seems needed would be 0032,041a,004a,0206,0207,0061,etc. The only seems I have on the pc are 041a, which is used to enable the media center in MPT, and 0449, which is used to edit the external lcd. If anyone knows of a way to fix this issue I'm open to any and all ideas, except those which consist of chunking it into the Curaberland river or seeing if it can withstand the weight of my classic 1979 2 door Impala. I can already tell you, it doesn't float and it will fold like a lawnchair under pressure!! :silly:
