V-Twin vs I4

Elton, I must admit I'm a bit shocked that you took the bait here.

It's kind of like you arguing your case with someone that sports a mullet.

i suffered the stuck-between-gears issue twice, had to replace a leaking radiator and the immobilizer malfunctioned. i had to be towed in four times and all that within the first 8k. i average about 1k a month so that means the bike has been in the shop basically every two months. i have to give props to our local dealer because they always had me back on the road within a week or so, but needless to say i will think twice before taking the 1198 out on a cross country ride.

jules,

Fair enough. Good point. Opining that a Misubishi is, "better," than a Ferrari is so patently absurd, it doesn't merit a response. But I'm a defender at heart. The honor and dignity of the, "Ferrari," nameplate compells me to point out the preposterous nature of DTM's claim.

I can't help it. Vulgarity and boorish conduct always pushes my buttons. It's how I'm wired. So when some misguided soul starts making outlandish claims like, "An Evo is better than a Ferrari," I'm compelled to respond, even though, (as you point out), I'm wasting my time.

why are we talking about cars? lol.

I do have to admit I am a little surprised by the # of votes saying you would just have a twin and not one of each. I'm all for brand loyalty, but I like a little variation and 2 bikes are better than one in my book.
