Easily one of the best things I put on my scoot in a LONG time!

They were a little quiet at first.
Their maiden voyage was a 3,000 mile trip and towards they end they opened up and have a deep, throaty sound to them.
I love em!!

Another bonus.........For the first time EVER,my wife didn't get a headache on a trip.........not even a little one

Well, I finally got 'em in and got 'em
put on yesterday afternoon. I like the
deep tone for sure and am looking
forward to getting some miles on them
and see if they deepen and smooth out
even more as some have said. I am
happy with them for sure and have a
re-adjustment time for me as I put
right at 15K on the bike with the stock
mufflers in place.

I had the Monster Ovals installed when I bought my Limited. Nice sound. At the end of June I replaced the head pipes with the V&H Power Duals and the sound is even better.

I had them on my 2006 ultra true dualls Se 203 cams ETC
loved the sound!!
Now I have a 2010 ultra with Fuel Motto power package with the jackpots HMMM
not sure which I like the best the sound very simular!!!

Congratulations! I sure love mine, and yes, they are "maturing" a bit with each mile. I've gotten a little neurotic about cleaning the inside of the chrome tips...my cat converter puts out some condensation which dries and spots badly. Might get the black ones later. Did you do an air cleaner and fuel control modifying? I stayed with V&H and did the FuelPak...a very easy and well performing addition. And along with my big sucker, she's a happy girl!

I've got monster ovals with dresser duals and 255 cams.....they are perfect! very deep and loud.......but I can still hear the radio a cruise speeds......I've got a friend with monster ovals on an flhtk with stock header and stock cams and they are significantly quieter......

It takes a few miles for them to open up, at around 5500 miles mine finally found their voice and have remained consistent for another few thousand.

I have the black tips and reversed them so the slash angle matches the rear slope of the bags. Looks cool and they sound great. Much better than stock but not too loud so I can't hear the radio.

I've had the MO's on mine for about 6 months now. Loved the sound they made right up until I added the V&H Power Duals's. maybe it's just me but they're almost hurting my hearing. I just had the setup checked by a local LEO and the db's were 92.3 Not bad really but I'm having a struggle whether or not to keep the MO's or install a set of Bub 7's I have in a box. (still new) I've had a few comments about how they love the sound of the setup. It's like taste, everyone's is so different regarding how something tastes or how something sounds, or even how comfortable a saddle is. Hell, my hands still hurt from changing the exhaust system and here I am thinking of getting into it again.
