UTI? Kidney?

Okay, before I sound crazy to my doctor I need to know if this something I should mention on my follow-up tomorrow.

Since I came home from the ER I have been having low back pain that is spreading upwards on my right side. It is not constant it comes and goes but when it comes it is quite painful. Nothing unusual about my urine and the swelling all over my body has come down (not sure if the soaking in Epsom Salt did the trick or not (I read how it can reduce it))

I just hate to go into his office with all these symptoms and looking like I am crazy. I know my body and I know something is wrong right now.

Should I call my GYN about this? Four months a go I had the pre-cancerous cells removed with a follow-up scheduled for Nov to do a repeat Pap.

I really don't know who I need to see?
 
Absolutely, you need to pursue the fact that you're not feeling well and that you're obviously having symptoms that are NOT normal.

Make sure you stress the high spike in temperature...103 and 104 are alarms from my perspective.

I think seeing your gyne (call and see if you can get in sooner because you're having symptoms) AND GP to start is good.

You're not crazy...you're frustrated.

I am not running a temperature so that is why I am confused about what is going on.

You are right about the frustration part of this. I just want to feel fine. You know if all this is a result of some alergic reaction, I surely whould like to know what caused it. I think the doctors are just playing guessing games right now.

I am just glad I can walk today without pain.
 
when I had a uti my urethra burned and stung intensely, I had cloudy urine and later the bladder area hurt. When a relative of mine had his kidney stone his back, side area under the rib cage hurt. When he took a drink of water it became worse. The stone was the size of a grain of sand and I don't remember well but if there was swelling it may not have been much. And health professionals are there for you to report symptoms to so they can help you.
