Hi, all:
We are full-time RVers and use a Verizon aircard and an cellular signal amplifier we bought from maximumsignal.net (who we recommend..good products and service). We are currently in a location where we seem to get great cell phone coverage but the broadband data rate is suddenly very slow. Specifically, in our last location we were getting 1700-1900 KPS down (truth!) and now we are getting less than 200. Can't figure this out...is the broadband signal a different animal than the cellular signal somehow, so that it's coverage may not be as good in an area as the cell strength? (Verizon says we have Broadband Access in this area). Is there any way to test how well the amplifier itself is working, other than the bars on our phone and the dataspeed? (I can never tell if it's working or not.)
