Using Two Devices with Same SIM?

Question. I have an 8100 with an unlimited data plan through TMO. If I get a 8300 through Cingular, and get it unlocked, can I just switch the SIM in and out b/w the 8100 and 8300 - and have everything (data-wise) work on both devices?

Yeah you can but you'll also have to keep switching your email from one device to the other. But that's not bad at all. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

or what i did was set up two different BIS accounts...same email pushed to either...

the only thing that won't be transferring are your bbm contacts...you'd have to tell them you have two bb's now

decisions, decisions. the curve is calling me!!

my options:

(a) buy it for $299, with $100 mir, and pay $10/mo. to add a line to a cingular family plan, unlock it and use it with my TMO account along with my pearl; OR

(b) buy it for $299, with $100 mir and cancel the contract for $150 (but don't know how long i'd have to pay monthly in order to get my mir back); OR

(c) buy it for $299, with $100 mir, and cancel my TMO (?!?!) and bring my pearl over to cingular/att since it is already unlocked -- then i'd have to pay $30 for unlimited data instead of $20 - and no myfavs

AHHHH! i'm so confused!! haha.

I would choose options A or B since it's apparent you want the Curve but don't want to leave T-Mobile. I almost did this with the 8800 but I didn't go thru with it since I have found out there is a new SureType series BB on the horizon (and also that T-Mobile now has their own 8800).

Edit: I also would take Cherrie up on her idea of two BIS accounts, one for the Pearl and one for the Curve. I may also do this because I occasionally have to fall back to my trusty 2 yr old 7100t when my newer devices aren't working and need to be replaced.
