My fiance and I would really like to use sky lanterns at our wedding in June. Unfortunately, I'm pretty positive that they qualify as "fireworks" in Maryland. Maryland law prohibits fireworks. On the firemarshall website is states that a permit can be obtained for $50 to discharge fireworks. Is this only for distributors?
Frederick County is where we want to set them off at - but on the Fred. Co. website, there is no information about obtaining a permit.
