I've never had to do a paper like this one before. This time I have to use quotes from the book [Fahrenheit 451]. I know I have to cite the page numbers. But I don't fully understand how to take out the quote from the book. Am I only allowed to quote the characters' dialog? Or can it be just plain text from the author?
For instance one of the quotes I want to use, goes like this:
Then she seemed to remember something and came back to look at him with wonder and curiosity. "Are you happy?" she said.
^ How do I make that into a quote for an essay? I just want to use the "are you happy?" part.
