Hi. I'm going to the US for two months vacation next week. I am planning to buy a new iphone 3gs from at&t for use there. I want to use the iphone when i come back to india with my vodaphone sim card. What will i have to do to be able to use it in india? Will i have to pay at&t the early termination fee of $300+ or will simply jailbreaking and unlocking the phone suffice for making it usable in india. If I dont have to pay the termination fee to at&t, it seems that i will be able to use the new 3gs when back in india by shelling out below 50$ when buying it. This seems too good to be true. Please help me and tell me what I will have to do to use it in India. All answers are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
