I have a ten gallon aquarium (fish only), with 4 small perculla clowns and 1 coral beauty. Ive had the CB for 3 weeks already and the clowns for just a week (this is my first aquarium). The CB haven't eaten any of the flakes, pellets or frozen worms I fed. It just munches on the live rocks, im not sure if its okay that way. About a week ago, I noticed the CB scraching its body on the rocks, and last night, it has some white spots on its body (not sure if its just sand). I noticed it disappeared this morning (though around 3 spots remained). Im not sure if it is ich or any other disease. I learned that garlic can help boost the immune system of saltwater fish. There are no available fish food with garlic or any other treatment products around here. I'll be relying on hyposalinity (did some research) and garlic. I just dont know how to use the garlic. Should I just chop some small bits and directly feed it along with the flakes, pellets or frozen worms?
