Since I last dyed my naturally dirty blonde hair using Clairol's Perfect 10 in Lightest Blonde (10), followed by SFX Atomic Pink, my hair has grown out a bit. Considering the holidays and everything, I want to lighten my roots so I can retouch them up with the pink. I have one more box left of the same Perfect 10 hair color but I don't know the mixing ratio and cant afford to buy a new box every time I want to touch up my roots, so I'm considering bleaching? I don't really know anything about it, but I think I'm supposed to use 20 volume if I want to go 2 shades lighter like I did previously. I know bleach is damaging but if I only leave it on my roots for a little and use 20 volume it cant be THAT unhealthy right? But then what do I do after I bleach it? Do I have to use a toner or something? Or can I just use the pink?
