Using an exercise bike...?

If I use an exercise bike for minimum 60 mins a day, and have no junk lots of fruit veg and only water or herbal teas, would i tone up and keep my weight as it is?
i dont really feel much, like my legs dont ache the next day or anything from the bike, when i get off I do feel this tingely feeling though in my legs and thigh and my thighs esp just over the knee are hot and sometimes red so it means its working the muscles right? would my buttom get a workout too? is using a bike a pretty slow workout and doesnt use much calories?

what do you mean by pleateau? and switch it up-u mean go on longer or different/vary exercises?
