Using a bonding/glue agent to fix rust on cars?

Never tried that but auto zone has some stuff that comes in many colors tat cover up rust.

Hello, I have some rust spots in the rocker. It would be kinda tricky to weld a new piece of metal in there and was wondering if anyone has ever tried glue/bonding agent? Let me know how it went and what you used/did? Thanks!!!
