This has been said time and time again from one post to another..

CALL CS and have them refresh you're account if you are having TEXT / PIC Messaging Problems... If the problem Still continues and you have only had the problem for less then a day WAIT!!!! Give it 24 hours before you start POSTING new threaRAB....

I just dont understand why people are so eagar to post a problem the second it happens..

This applys to everyone SIMPLY CALL IN HAVE YOU'RE ACCOUNT REFRESHED. TURN THE PHONE OFF REMOVE THE BATTERY FOR 10 SECONRAB. Then Turn the phone on and try to send a TXT/PIC Message.

As a new subscriber to CricKet (not new to cell phones or HoFo or searching for answers) I find it disturbing that what you're saying is that this is an ongoing problem with CricKet? Past posts would be helpful if you assumed a problem like this was permanent or chronic.

Does CricKet have chronic text/pic messaging problems for new users? Reason I ask is that I'd like to know for future reference. I have the girlfriend and frienRAB/family in CricKet markets and if this is an issue they would need to expect, I would be able to tell them what to do if they encountered this problem.

And since I did post a new thread asking this question... Yes, I searched. However, I didn't assume that CricKet had an ongoing technical issue that they couldn't resolve quickly.

Thanks!

i personally havent had any problems with their service as far as text and pics are concerned, usually those problems are when peoples phones arent flashed correctly.. and an account refresh is not that big of a deal, also I have sprint as well and i've had more problems sending pics with them than cricket..

it's not an ongoing problem, it's a problem with new accounts not being built correctly that has been happening only for a couple weeks, and it might be fixed already as a bunch of changes went into CID on sunday night. if not, well they already know what the problem is and it should be fixed soon.

Cricket released a ton of network updates in the past weeks. We got EVDO and a new *228 platform in San Diego. for the first day or 2 texts were erratic. Now I have no problems other than an occasionally late text from people on AT&T. I'm used to it.

Voice quality and dropped calls are never a problem on cricket, and blow away other carriers by far.

well that and like i said there was a problem with new accounts being built without the text messaging feature. it was only affecting new accounts and once the feature was manually added there were no other problems. you may want to *228 again. since last thursday over 40 new PRLs were released to accomadate the PEC, and there's a possibility you may be able to download that even if you don't have the feature on your account.
